Vision
My vision is to see people become life long followers of Jesus Christ.
College is a great opportunity to develop a walk with Christ, and to
develop conviction that will shape your life. With graduation, a whole
new world opens up, and in a sense everything turns upside down. So many
times I have noticed that people who were excited about their walk with
Christ in college have become ho-hum in their post-college years. The new
challenges and pressures of life can be overwhelming. My vision is to
help people establish their walk with Christ and continue it for the rest
of their lives.
Passions
A life verse for me is Colossians 1:28-29. Paul wrote of how he
worked in such a way that he could present them to Christ as complete or
mature. My passion, what I live for, is to help people apply Scripture to
their lives in the context of everyday life: in decision-making,
relationships, job/class performance, etc. I live to see the people become mature followers of Jesus Christ.
Likes and Dislikes
I like playing with my kids, taking my wife out on dates, popcorn, reading,
NASCAR, movies and the Washington Redskins. I dislike
Duke, the Dallas Cowboys, and when people ask me if I know what the
capital of Iowa is.
