Short Term Missions

These mission trips are great ways to get your feat wet in service and evangelism, and they are short enough to fit in your busy schedule. We have trips to other campuses and even overseas, and we do them every fall and spring break.

On the evangelism focused trips you will be given basic training on how to share your faith, and then go out in pairs or groups and spend most of the day sharing the gospel with people. Generally this is done by using spiritual questionnaires to start up a conversations but we also use many other creative methods to meet and share the truth with people. Activities at night generally focus on social outreach like a game night, pancake dinner, or bible study in order to spend more time with people we met during the day or to meet new people. The focus is on sharing the gospel with people to see them come to know Christ and then plugging them into a local fellowship we are connected with.

On the service focused trips you will spend most of your time doing hard labor to help those who are less fortunate. Sometimes this involves preparing and giving food to those who are homeless or hungry. Sometimes it involves cleaning up someone house from a natural disaster. Sometimes it involves helping someone rebuild their life through building their house. Sometimes it just involves playing with abandoned children, helping them feel loved. Whatever the application, you will be meeting someone at their critical time of need. Maybe you will be that last loving touch that brings someone to know Christ. Maybe you will be the first.

These trips are short but never underestimate the impact God can make in your life and the lives of others in just a few days.

Fall Break

Fall break this year will be October 7th - 8th. Trip details will be posted when the time gets closer.

Spring Break

Spring break this year has yet to be anounced but it generally falls in the second or third week in March. Most of our local spring break trips last from Sat/Sun through Tue/Wed, leaving the second half of the week for you to see your family and friends at home; while our foreign trips last the whole week.
