Complete prior to game night:

• Go to Grand Slam and talk to Gene Maneri (the owner of Grand Slam) about reserving the basketball area from 10pm to 12am, which is after the normal hours of operation. Talk to Berk or Matthew about deals he has given us in the past. Grand Slam is located next to K-Mart off Western Blvd.
• Begin announcing the event two weeks prior to game day (mention game day, location of Grand Slam, start time and cost). Ed should be contacted about the event going in the announcement section of the bulletin. Another good way to advertise the event is to make a flyer for it and put the flyer in the bulletin.
• Ask someone to collect money.
• Ask someone who is full of energy and enthusiasm and has a loud voice to pull everyone together on game day and give announcements and go over rules and divide up teams.

Do at the event:

• Get basketballs from the service area to start warming up.
• Announce the following at the event:
  • time duration of each game
  • who is collecting money
• Divide up into teams.
