Murder, rape, abortion, extortion, racism, and scandals are not fixed by politics, money, education, leaders, or legislation.
The problem is the basic assumptions upon which you view yourself and understand the world.
Everyone has a worldview! Your worldview is the way you think the world works, and how you fit into it. Your worldview answers four important questions.
1. Where did I come from?
2. Why is the world such a mess?
3. Is there a solution?
4. What is my purpose?
To many people today are trying to give answers to the third and fourth before they are able to answer the first two. If you don't understand where you came from
you will be unable to know where you need to be going. If you don't understand why there is such a mess in this world you can only guess at a solution.
Your worldview is far to important of an issue for you to go through life without thinking about it. We will be taking the next few weeks to discuss what a worldview
is, the important issues that effect it, and how it practically works out in your life and the lives of others. We will meet every Sunday at 7pm in the Sullivan TV Lounge on the first floor.
